KPIs Organization Team

The KPIs Organization Team was formed in an effort to inform, assist and further involve all departments in the proper identification and consequent monitoring of their respective KPIs. As a first step, each Team member was responsible to organize each department’s employees who would be responsible to collect all data, so that they would be able keep the project running. Our target is to involve all Company’s personnel in future action plans and various projects.

Social Improvement Initiative Team

The SIIT is comprised of the Managing Director as the Team Leader and four office employees as Team Members. The team’s objective is to gather information about welfare institutions that are concerned with children’s care, elders’ care or general character institutions and make relevant presentations and proposals to the Management Team, so that the appropriate sums may be donated. The SIIT is also responsible for arranging

BLS (Basic Life Support), 1st Aid and other relevant seminars. Furthermore, the SIIT maintains EST’s blood bank account and arranges for blood donations to be carried out by authorized personnel at Company’s premises every six months.

Employees’ Self Assessment Team

Self Assessment (SA) is a process whereby an employee evaluates him/her self in various skills ranging from communication and self motivation to satisfaction at work, initiative and etc. The Team distributes the SA Questionnaires to all employees annually. The completed questionnaire is handed over by each employee to the Head of Department who reads it and subsequently provides receive feedback to each employee individually during a private meeting regarding his/her answers, thus aiming at resolving any problems or obstacles that might be in the way of each department running smoothly. The purpose of SA is to promote the company’s interest in proper management of its human resources and to encourage communication and team work between employees and departments. Upon completion of the above procedure, the Team collects all questionnaires and produces relevant statistics, retaining of course full confidentiality of records.

Employees’ – Marines’ Satisfaction Questionnaire Team

Respect for People is a very important driver for EST who is striving to provide the necessary conditions for the full involvement of all personnel by identifying employees’ needs and expectations, both ashore and on board the vessels. The organization understands that healthy, happy, well trained and motivated ashore employees and mariners are essential to the safe running of the organization and the fleet. Thus, yearly Employees’ and Marines’ Satisfaction Surveys are one of the methods used by the company to measure the level of employees’ and marines’ satisfaction, which accordingly affects the setting of new targets. Employees’ competence and awareness as well as their needs and expectations for recognition and development are identified through this procedure and results are discussed for further action

3rd Party Opinion Survey Team

The yearly 3rd Party Opinion Surveys is a valuable tool for the identification of the Company’s stakeholders’ needs and expectations. Through the 3rd Party Opinion survey the company identifies customers’, Suppliers’ and 3rd party expectations and new strategic approaches and targets are set.

EST Newsletter Editing Team

The EST Newsletter was launched in March 2007 and has been released monthly ever since, delivering to all Fleet and 3rd Party Organizations news relevant to Enterprises, various marine advisories, safety & security issues, marine news and global / sports news from seafarers’ countries of origin. Numerous favorable critics have been received throughout this time from shore based and seagoing employees, who have embraced this project and proven their support. The editing team is responsible for collecting all relevant information and including same in the monthly issues of EST Newsletter.
